Mesa Verde is a magical place located in the southwestern corner of Colorado in the USA. How anyone could survive under such conditions is beyond me, much less build these intricate and well thought-out structures in such inaccessible places.
I took this shot through the trees as we progressed along the path to Cliff Palace, the largest collection of cave dwellings at Mesa Verde. I liked the way the trees framed the structure.
