This is absolutely delightful. Being English, tea means a lot to me :) When people are wanting to chat they’ll say, “Let’s have a cup of tea and a natter”. When anyone has a shock, someone inveriably says, “I’ll make you a copy of tea with lots of sugar in to calm you.” Yes … this picture depicts comfort and friendliness for me.
thanks so much Blythart, I am a big tea drinker myself which is why I am obsessed with teapots. I really think tea does calm things down, the other day I read in the paper that they found the act of making the tea makes people a lot calmer than they started out.
