The Blues Train

This poem was inspired by an old train (now a tourist attraction with special features like a weekend Blues Train) leaving Queenscliff station, Bellarine Peninsula.

The Blues Train belongs to the following groups:

! Creative Writing & Poetry !, ! φThe Dreaming Treeφ !, Live, Love, Dream: , Shadows & Reflections and The beauty of poetry

Travelling by steam
Pioneer of empowered people moving
An adrenalin rush for the adventurous
The family fun
The holiday connection

Time has passed
The baggaged queues have departed
Now the feet of the nostalgic
And the curious
Shuffle to buy
A new ticket to
Old dreams
And travel
Light
