Sad Eyes by George Lenz

Sad Eyes by

Was going though my old images. This shot was taken two years ago and it caught my eye. As I started to play with it I couldn’t help but see the sad expression in this beautiful animal’s face as I cropped it. I used Orton effect to just make it so soft and precious. I’ll have to admit, this is one of my favorite images and will probably hang someplace in our home. Canon XTI. 1140 views, 35 favs 3-27-11. Featured Here 12-3-10.

It’s gorgeous! I agree, I can see the sadness in his/her expression. This photo makes me feel, which is what great art does. Enjoy this one. You do need to hang it some place special for sure!

His mane looks so soft and silky….to me his eye shows a distant dreaminess…..a beautiful image George. :)

Absolutely beautiful and the Orton effect works very well. I’m glad to see it used on something other than landscapes.
