Whilst I am somewhat disturbed by the usage of H.R.H King George VI’s crown in a satirical manner, this piece does have a delightfully comforting nostalgia about it, like trips to the Apple Market with mother or Grandmama’s bread and butter pudding on a rainy afternoon.
I don’t think King George will mind – I mean he is dead after all.
Mmmmm bread and butter pudding made by Grandmama … second only to her chicken soup for me.
King George was a good and proper king. May he rest in peace.
Isn’t that what happen to those Jo Witnesses who got fed the mull cupcakes? WAS THAT YOU?
PS I really like this… Im adding it to my mental list of stuff to buy.
Bless you and your heavily make-upped profile picture.
quaint british stiff upper lip! tea and scones. nice war time message! love how the cupcake looks like the english crown, the colours help this along too. brilliant!
ah! you meant it! i just saw the actual version on it on the side of your profile! hahahahhaa! brilliant man.
Thank you stupidland, gotta keep those Brits on their toes eh ?
