moments unrecorded

moments unrecorded belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

Time is speeding
in a framework designed
to call for perfection.
my story slows and bolts
in moments
unrecorded
Death is not my concern
I saw my Father die
and he was courageous.
His only remorse
to leave my Mother.
His pride, (he said,) his sons.

My Grandfather and his brothers
gave me my remaining skills,
they guide my eye,
they haunt my regret.

As life becomes more amazing,
its character can lesson.
It’s not my wish to contribute to that.

I will example
honour and respect
I prey,
my babies see.

Music holds my soul,
especially the songs of angels.
Poetry heals my wounds,
particularly my contempories.

I will not leave
completely
ever
at all,
because I have
felt
love.

Thanks sunsette15, I’m glad you found it beautiful as well as sad. I was going for sad, kind of literary acting, I was happy once I wrote it, lol.
