Cranbourne botanical gardens

Visited the Cranbourne botanical gardens on a work excursion today and recommend them to any gardener or contemporary artist. It’s not like any other botanical gardens.
We saw the Australian native section where there are fifteen themed gardens, and had the tour, which is full of fascinating info. Especially the history of the site and of the making of the gardens. The sculptural effects and few sculptures are fantastic. A monster steel sculpture is the longest in the world. Representative we were told of the earths plates and the flow of water.
The café and book/gift shop is a nice way to finish. Our time was limited, you could spend most of the day there. I’m going back soon. Spring I think would be amazing.
I’ll add some pics to this entry once I find out how too.
