Dusk was approaching as I was setting up my tent after spending a day with the wild mustangs in the Pryor Mountains of Montana.
The chill down the back of my neck was partially due to the cooling mountain air, and partially due to the feeling of being watched.
As I was thinking about a beautiful white stallion that had taken his harem and run off, I suddenly heard a mustangs’ scream and the stomping of hooves.
I agree with Barssel. The SPIRIT of the stallion is in your words and in your amazing photo! Only close contact with these magnificent creatures and a deep respect for them can lead to such keen introspection and insight.
