Get Your Own
Red squirrel with cone of white bark pine tree. I was on top of the Beartooth Mountains in Montana looking for bear ( the cone of the white bark pine is great bear food ) but all I found was this guy. He wouldn’t share.

I love your work; you capture not only the animals but the personalities as well, and you seem to bring out the humor in them. I love this little fellow with the evidence of his snack written all over his face. Thanks for preserving moments like this for all to see! Priceless!

Thanks for the kind comments. I feel I must speak out for hunters who hunt for food; wildlife is better off because of them. Many years ago, deer and elk populations were extremely low. Now the deer and elk herds are abundant and healthy in Montana because the animals are managed and protected by the fish and game commission, which is supported by hunter fees. Hunters also donate badly needed money to buy habitat, which is rapidly disappearing due to urban sprawl.
