nope, this particular one wasn’t my first car. my first car was a red VW 1968 beetle.
this particular car… while working on a film set last year one of the locations was an old mansion on a huge acreage, owned by a single old man who rides a rust old bike, wears old tattered overalls and a hat with more holes then the few teeth he had left.
behind this amazing, beautiful and crumbling mansion was a car graveyard, full of cars of all ages and eras.
among them, this one. he told me the story of it being his first car and his recollection of he’s mother not being to fond of his purchase.
expressing my appreciation for it, he offered to me for a fee. i was amazed, all those cars are rusting away, yet he treasures them like jewels.
if i had the place to put this rusted beauty, i may have taken it.

the reason i admired the car so much. not a car fan at all, just loved the look of its current state, moss and all.

Looks like an old Chrysler.
Ap3 chrysler royal….lovely old cars.
I love the story of the old man, and I’m wondering how many tales he could weave of this car and the lives it’s held within its rust…….such a classic!
this looks like my current car :)
