Having joined RedBubble only last month, I now have the honour of having one of my photos as the avatar for a week at the All About Flowers group.

Lily Seedling is the result of a cross between ‘Mother Teresa’, a white side-facing short lily with ‘Pink Pagoda’, an up-facing pink/maroon medium size lily. Both parents are Asiatic lilies.

The Avatar for the week was chosen by Andreas Koepke, “I chose this one because the shot is well composed, focusing the attention on the flower. The dark green background provides a great contrast with the white flower. The splashes of colour on the petals just tops it off. A really beautiful flower captured really well.”
