When Fabulous Flowers introduced The most Fabulous Lily challenge, I was really excited. Especially when I read the criteria that the flowers had to belong to the genus Lilium.

Finally a time to recognize lilies for what they are. Hardy plants that even grow in zone 1A in Canada’s north (they get -40 degree temperatures!).

Imagine my disappointment when the rules changed. I can imagine the reasons because weeding out the not true lilies is a daunting task, and as a host you don’t want to take away the excitement of a challenge.

But, not to be taken aback, Glorious Lilies now has its own challenge for true lilies. Entries are now accepted!
