Genevieve Cseh

I am a Californian expat transported by marriage to Aberdeen, Scotland. I am a mostly self-taught painter, working mainly in acrylic and mixed media. I love colour and hence, my paintings tend to almost always have elements of bright colour to them. I also love texture and sparkle (girly, I know). My husband says I was a magpie in a previous life. I love (in random order): ’80s synth music, Arctic folklore, mosaics, neapolitan ice cream, my husband, family and friends, Victoriana, Dylan Moran & Bill Bailey, Agatha Christie, black forest cake, that type of weather where there are lots of black clouds but the sun is shining, and Prussian blue paint.
