I have been a bit quiet on the RB front lately due to the surfing contest season cranking on the Gold Coast and it has been really difficult keeping up as I might end up with 400 plus photos from one weekend but I think I have finally worked out a photoshop batch process that doesnt crash my computer every few minutes! plus trying to hold on to my fulltime job in the middle in the middle of an economic crisis! luckily I was able to avoid the first round of job cuts at my work!
So to all my friends i apologise if i havent been able to keep up!

I also recently had one of my photos used by the Gold Coast City Council in some promotional material….I actually entered it in their contest….funnily enough i didnt get a place but they used it for the advertising…i would have prefered the cash prize! lol (mine is the middle photo)
I would also like to thank a number of groups for featuring a number of images in the last few weeks, including the IPA-International Photographers Alliance and Surfing groups.
Now back to the 300 photos from the Ripcurl MP Classic on the weekend sigh lol

Yeah, think I would suffer from lens/camera envy when the pro tour rolls into town. Remember the days of Kirra going off and trying to drive around that road, surfers hitching rides on car bonnets, every man and his dog out.
