One night when sleeping
I heard someone creeping
I went downstairs
Really scared
And there unannounced
He just pounced
And yelped with joy
It was a doggie boy
While his tail wagged
I looked for tags
Nothing there
Couldn’t bare
To put him out
He’s still running about
Loves to play
With his toys all day
I’m still unsure
How he got in the door
It was locked
He didn’t knock
Maybe he knows a special trick
Think he can be very slick
I admit..loved him from the start
His pawprints now on my heart..
