Spirits sitting side by side
Where all can see
They do not hide
They are where they want to be
After years of having run together
Happy to be free
Running in all kinds of weather
Neighing softly nose to nose
Not moving
From their happy pose
I have seen them disappear
When I turned
They were no longer there
Just looking at them you have to know
Their love for each other has never ceased
They must be together in death so
They can have true peace
