I am a Nature loving amateur photographer! My main goal with my camera is to capture the beauty, the essence of Nature and share it with everyone I can. A picture truly is worth a thousand words. Often I am completely lost for words to describe the emotions I feel looking at a sunset or watching water cascading down the mountain in the Spring thaw. Then there is the gentle sway of leave and blossom in the warm summer wind as the multitude of colors collide. I want you to feel the warmth of the sun, smell the freshness of the air after the rain and hear the laughter of the water tumbling over the rocky stream bed. I want you to feel the winter chill yet be warmed with the stunning brilliance of the white that blankets the resting world. A tall order for sure but I love trying to share the beauty I see! I have a Sony DSC-H2 I got as a gift a couple years ago. I love it but want to get another hopefully this year and just don’t know whether to go with another Sony, or switch to a Canon or Nikon. The sales will most likely make up my mind! They all seem to deliver beautiful results. I pretty much just go out and shot what catches my eye with the settings on automatic. I have learned a little about the technical aspects of photography but not enough to talk about. Hope to remedy that this year also.

When I look at others’ work I feel foolish with what I post but I do love a lot of what I have captured. I am so inspired to do better by what I see in others work! Thank you all for the inspiration!
