i love the depth in this pic
Thank you Kristina. I was a nuisance on the road this morning as I was driving along – trying to capture a good snap between the gumtrees and pulling over to the side of the road frequently to snap shots. I liked the rock wall colours here too.
sounds very familiar, my friend and i spent the day out yesterday and pretty much the same senario, stop here, then trying not to be in the way as well as being in the right spot, fun isn’t it.your shot was well worth it.
There is sooo much for the eye here, gaylene. For one thing, the clouded and rugged mountain in contrast with the foreground, then the human element of the rock wall. And the DOF, the colours of the rocks, the framing of the trees. Just wonderful. Recognising also this was “guerilla photography”, I just have one comment on the wall – the handwritten sign. You probably had no choice but for it to be in frame, but it is a little frustrating that we can’t see all of the words. Offline, I wonder how does it look with it cropped out or will that leave out too much of the wall? :)
Good point – I did notice that all the sign was not visible but didn’t worry about it … it does draw the eye a bit too much though so bye bye sign!!
Hi Peter, I cropped it a bit too much now and the resolution quality is lost – how can I get it back (I deleted the original photos off my camera….duh!!!….and I should have played around with a copy of an image not the original in my files – I will learn to remember this in future I hope)
Nice view Gaylene!
Thanks again Athena for your comments
