trees guarding the mist - with unusual thick burls on trunks
...
Yes, the light is natural – fogginess creeping between the trees, has a bluish tinge. Interestingly I did not notice the hue till the shot was uploaded.

Gaylene, I don`t know if you did any processing with this or whether it`s a straight shot… either way, it`s magical and it mystifies me bigtime. Beautiful image!

Perfectly named image and I am not supprised I had to scroll down the page to make the comment. a FANTASTIC photo. another fav
gaylene replied
Thanks yet again Andrew. Wow, you sure are viewing a lot of my work and seem to enjoy them. I am pleased. I love the bush, but I take my camera everywhere (except to the Cradle Mt spa today unfortunately so I missed a shot that I would have been very impressed with) and so I snap anything that gras my eye – and I do have a very bad habit while I am driving to “notice” things and suddenly check in my ar rearview mirror and pull over quickly – jump out of the car and sna whatever has grabbed my attention. This is very annoying to anyone (luckily not many people travel with me) who is in the car with me. I did this last weekend – was just driving along and I noticed some unusual white shapes on the ground – quickly stopped the car and found some long/tall/white fungi – like puffballs but tall and “squeezed” looking. These were near Cradle Mt – Daisy Dell.
