Hi, I read a comment from Maria Dryfhout that was so me !! – “What I like most about photography is the moment that you can’t anticipate; you have to be constantly watching for it, ready to welcome the unexpected.” I love taking my camera with me wherever I go (it’s part of me). Walking through bush, rainforests, climbing hills and mountains, ambling along on the beach – or even kayaking at the beach or rivers/lakes, are all what I love doing….rejuvenating my soul…(de-stressing after a hard day/week at work). I just walk along, and then “hey” – I have to take that shot! (even mid-step). I use only an Olympus digital 7.1 mp camera (or my Kodak 5mg digital camera. I don’t play around with the snaps, except crop some or make them black and white). I also love reading and learning anything … although it’s not so easy to remember everything! ..(getting older). But well, life is for fun, and who knows when our life will end – - so I believe we should enjoy each and every day, and be thankful that we have such lovely friends and acquaintances. SMILE at everyone and mostly they will smile back. Memories are precious. And as you may have guessed – I need to go to the bush to recharge my batteries – supercharge my soul!
