These might come in handy one day. Maybe when I grow up I will find a use for them. This is Alex and he is an Alexandrine parrot. Taken with an EOS 350D and standard 18-55 lens.
AWWW how CUTE!!!!! And what beautiful color!!!!! I have a girlfriend who has an African Gray … he came to visit us for a few days once, and one night I’d forgotten about covering his cage. It got dark, and I heard him call … “good night.” … then a few minutes went by … a louder “Good NIGHT.” a few more minutes “GOOD NIGHT!!!” lol … I finally got the hint!!!!! I know you’ll enjoy Alex so much!!!!!!
I really did enjoy his company. He lives on in these photos.
He really was, having him took me back to when I was raising my own family. All babies have needs and wants and to be around mummy, Alex was no different
he shore is a youngen here good onya mate for taking on the challenge of teaching a bird/companion tricks and stuff and looking after him well i think as i get a bit older and responsible ile be getting another parrot as a mate / companion fantastic stuff
He was a real treasure and I loved him dearly. He would wave when I said “Bye Bye”. He would also fly to my shoulder on command. I get a lump in my throat when I think of him.

Sweet baby Alex. Wonderful photo of him Gavin, I’m sorry to read of his loss. It’s always so difficult. Glad you have these images to remind you and remember. Best, Emily
Thanks for your kind words Emily. I can’t wait till Eccles comes home then I will have more to upload.
