Alex, my baby Alexandrine Parrot, lying on a towel on my lap. He would lay there for hours just resting. God love his little cotton sox. Taken with a Canon EOS 350D and the standard 18-55mm lens
Are they quite intellegent birds Gavin? He seems to interact with you… or maybe thats how your camera portrays it :)
We were inseparable. If he wasn’t in his cage, which was most of the time, he was either on his play gym or he was on my shoulder. They are very intelligent. He would fly to my shoulder on command, if I said “Bye Bye” he would wave. I get emotional when I think about it.
I love this one!! The pin feather stage is just so cute! My lovebirds bred for England until I had to take their nest box out and I have a couple of shots on here :))
You are so right Felicity. To watch the feathers appear is awesome. It’s like watching a baby take their first steps
