A clever and individual composition. Making the bubble holder as the subject is an inspired piece of photographic thinking. A snapshot version woulda been with full kids face and a supersmall bubble holder and all of the bubble shape in frame. This is an abstract and encapsulates the FUN of bubble blowing :o)
Focus, DOF, composition, framing – all come together for the best photo I have seen in a long while.

man, I don’t know how you do it, but you humble me with each and every comment you make, thank you so much!

Real photography is ‘thinking outside the box’ – framing where everyone knows whats going on and only needs an inkling of the kids face, a clenched hand holding the bubble maker, the underside of the bubble and BANG !! thats the PHOTOGRAPH and NOT the ‘snapshot’ of some kid 10 metres into the frame – but 10 cms away from the lens. PERFECTION. Just love it. THE END :0)))))))))
