I really enjoyed this place. Even more when I downloaded this to the computer and saw the reflections that I had seen and colours all came out. Simply converted to jpeg and tweaked levels. This was at a place as the title suggests called Dryandra Woodland. It is 28000 hectares of conservation land approximately an hour an a half from Armadale. Which is split up into 17 blocks as such, due to having farming around and through it. A place steeped in history from the campgrounds to this dam and further onto the Congelin campgrounds and railway. Has a place called Barna Mia which is a must see for the nocturnal mammals of the area.

Great capture Gary, the stillness of the water and the reflection it it are just lovely :)

  • Thanks Trish. It is a small dam which looks a whole lot better through the reflection it creates.

Super shot Gary and I want to try and get down there for a look around come springtime. How do I get there mate? Peter

  • Thanks for your comment Peter. Best and easiest way is down Albany Hwy Armadale to North Bannister. Around 65kms from main intersection at Armadale. Left at North Bannister towards Wandering and from there I think it is around 70kms. You turn right into the entrance to the cottages. And follow the signs through there.
