the Melbourne Aquarium opened in January 2000 and was designed to represent a ship moored at the side of the river.It extends from the side of the river under the rail lines to Flinders street.
At it’s center is a world first 2.2 million litre Oceanarium in the round where the spectators become the spectacle to the marine life swimming around them.
