This cartoon will be published in the next issue Beliefs and Values: Understanding the global implications of behaviour ww.springerpub.com/bv.

The brief was to depict both sides of the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Having been to the Jerusalem earlier this year I found this challenging. This is a most complex issue with historical, religious, economic, environmental and social factors at play. Security and human rights concerns are paramount.

As the cartoon suggests the majority of people want peace and for their children to have an education and to be able to participate in a fair and prosperous economy. Some of the prejudice, injustice and arrogance must be left outside.
