And I Thunk to Meself... by

Yesterday, I visited Sydney hoping for lots of sunshine and bright blue skies. Yeah right. I got rain, rain and more rain. So I took the undercover walk from Circular Quay to the Opera House. At this point I stopped, studied the scene, and I thunk to meself, “William Bullimore would have taken a pic of this.” So I did. Fuji Finepix S7000.

About Gary Kelly

I’m a hobby photographer. In fact, I’m not sure Red Bubble should refer to me as an “artist”. But I do like to take photos that are above average, and certainly appreciate learning from my fellow Bubbleonian’s efforts as well as their comments. I use a second hand Sony Cybershot F717 and a Fuji Finepix S7000… oldies but goodies. Photography allows me to keep souveniers of my experiences. Today’s deeds become tomorrow’s memories.

    Nice work!

  • Thanks, Margaret, but all I did was stand there and click. :)

Nice work Gary , good leading line and well composed. Hope you didn`t get lost in the big smoke. Did you check out old stomping grounds. The weather has been crook here all month.

  • I seem to recognize such things without actually thinking about them, Terry. If it looks right, I click. Then I put it on Red Bubble so that experts like you can tell me what I did right hehe. No I didn’t get lost, but the crook weather prevented me from checking out too much. The train tip is boring but I’ll have to do it again one of these days. A day pass for geriatrics like me is only $2.50 for all transport… bus, ferry, light rail and train. Way to go!

LOL Gary, I would have :) This is really excellent composition. Lots of depth to the photo. Well done buddy.

  • And you didn’t even mention plagiarism hehe. Thanks, William. And thanks for the fav as well. I knew you would if I gave you a plug. :)

Well done Gary ! The day pass doesn’t extend to any of the south coast transport,
but it sure is great value in Sydney :)

  • Yes, Trish, it surprised me when the ticket seller said $2.50 concession. Pretty good for unlimited travel all day. And it makes getting around so easy. Unfortunately, Taree doesn’t have such passes available either… probably because nothing but the XPT is government operated,

South coast doesn’t even have a train and the bus is $82 return for Seniors :(

  • I suppose walking is out of the question.
