G’day,

I’m a bit nuts, actually, not to mention getting on in years. And the “Grace” mug? Grace was my nickname in the radio biz for a long, long time. That mug was a present for one of my many birthdays… can’t remember which one. Actually, the boss’ daughter nicknamed me more accurately as ‘Disgrace’.

And if you’re really, really, really brave (or stupid), you can witness in living color my attempt to create a Youtube vid of moi carrying on like a lunatic. Click here

These days, I’m interested in writing (5 books so far), traveling (I plan to do the big tour of Australia pretty soon) and photography. I couldn’t wait to get started so I do day trips around the local area (Mid North Coast NSW). You can check out my adventures at AUSSIE ODYSSEY It’s free!

Since joining Red Bubble, I’m amazed by the number of talented shutterbugs there are… so many people with a keen eye for the unusual and the magnificent. Makes me feel kinda overwhelmed, actually, but I appreciate the lessons learned and the camaraderie. Ya know, I suspect if everyone in the world had a camera, the world would be a better place.

Writing

Old Mick from Orange

I’ve never written a poem about Orange, a town out west of New South Wales. The main problem was that nothing rhymed with Orange.

His Master's Voice

‘Twas an HMV with movies to see / on twenty one inches of screen.

TWENTY TEN

Back in one thousand nine hundred and ten / the people got lazy and chose there and then / to call that year by a simpler name / so nineteen ten was what it became.

And I Thought to Meself...

I was camped by a billabong way out back / somewhere along the Oogabunga track.

What the Hell am I Doing Here?

I think most of all, Red Bubble provides me with an opportunity to meet truly amazing artists.

Bunch

Bunch takes care of a whole bunch of stuff.
