I am a Wildlife/Landscape/Nature Photographer.
At age 11 I picked up my moms instamatic and went out photographing and thus became my life long passion of capturing my visions of how I see the world. A number of years ago, I came upon something that resonated true to me when I read it.
“For in the end, we will conserve only what we love, love only what we understand and understand only what we are taught.”
If you think about it, this is very true.. we are most passionate and want to perserve and will fight for what moves/simulates us as humans..Sometimes in the haste and necessity of living/working we sometimes forget what it is we receive back from nature, those long walks along the beach,in the woods or even that lone moment in a park, with the breeze whispering around us and the songs/chatter of wildlife.. Hopfully in our living for the moment, and trying to make ends meet, we don’t let events happen to rob us or erase those quiet ,soul rejuvenating/reflective moments that nature provides for us.
As John Muir once wrote
” In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks”.
