I dont usually keep shots of birds where/when the face is not visible but there are exceptions and this is one of them.
Bluejays are one of my favourite birds. Their striking colors are especially welcome in the snowier months of the year although the ones who frequent my yard don’t stick around for the entire Winter. They can be noisy but they are one of the most intelligent birds and are related to Crows and Ravens.

Canon 30D and Canon 200 2.8L with a 1.4X TC for 280mm at F4. ISO at 400 and 1/2500 sec at F4
