Artist's Description

An Avro Vulcan B2 bomber passing over the Channel Islands. XL426 was the 44th of the 88 Vulcan B2s built by A V Roe & Co. and joined 83 Squadron at RAF Scampton in 1962. Retired in the 1980s she is now owned by the Vulcan Restoration Trust based at Southend Airport near London.
