Conimbla Wildflower

Hoping someone may be able to identify this plant. A small shrub to about a metre high, flowers about 20 – 30mm wide. The flowers look a lot like a bottlebrush so I am thinking it may be from the Myrtaceae callistemon family.
Captured in the Conimbla National Park, NSW, Australia. Only ever seen the one plant in about 10 years of going to the park.

All commission from this work will go to DID Dads In Distress charity organisation.

Photography has been a hobby now for about 15 years and is forever evolving as is my experience and techniques with photoshop. At the moment i love vintage images and have an uncontrollable urge to add textures to everything, addicted? Yes! Thanks for taking the time to view my work.
