Whale watching
Whale watching on Q1…the World’s tallest residential tower.
Height 322.5m
Entry to the observation deck costs $19 for an adult. The express lift does 77 floors in 43 seconds…open your mouth
I have spent far too long on this shot. The reflections are from the observation deck were visitors look out to the beaches of Surfers Paradise. I have used a Polarizing filter and some post processing to enhance the effect of the reflections by half a stop. Shot from ground level of the deck.

Looks great though…..makes for an interesting pic with the reflections in place. Did you go up for sunset too?
Garry Schlatter replied
I was too tired as I left Brisbane at 4.15am on such a cold morning

Ahhh, fair enough. :)

Another clever shot. Last time I was up there it scared the hell out of me how close you could see sharks to swimmers.

That’s awesome Garry, most people are trying to get rid of reflections, you’ve made it a great feature

I love the way the reflection draws you away from the standard beautiful urban coastal scene. There is so much detail to look at in the reflection. Great idea empaphasising it Garry :)

The reflection adds so much to this shot…. well done
