A drawing of a photo taken from the internet depicting ancient forms of tattooing.
I think the image means so much more.

Drawn in a mix of Faber Castell and Prisma coloured pencils on a 30×40cm cold press illustration board with a black ink background.

I am a self taught coloured pencil artist residing in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. My passion at the moment is human portraiture, especially celebrities, as due to their high profile nature the margin for error is minute and an intriguing challenge. I also do commissions, both human and non-human, when the occasion arises. Thank you for viewing my work and feel free to leave any comments, good or bad, and I will certainly respond.

You do folds and creases so well Gary. The weathered hands are amazing. Excellent work.

  • Thanks for picking up on the weather hands Margaret as that was the main focus of the drawing and what I set out to achieve. I bet this chappie has polished a few mahogany Buddhas in his time!
