Here is one of the roughest seas I have seen Minnis Bay. Taken in May 2008, looking towards reculver.

That does look incredibly rough and I see you chose a nice safe distance to be (I probably would have gone up to the railings!).
You’ve captured the turbulant nature of it so well and the hint of colour amidst the grey just aludes to how dark and stormy it must have been.
Great detail, love the muted colours. Really caught the movement in the water. Great shot.
