Out of the Blue
A Blue Sea Star (Linckia laevigata) clambering across a stand of Pavona clavus hard coral. not only are these sea stars beautiful they are also amazingly well adapted to their environment. This one had all of it’s ‘arms’ intact yet it is common to see them with missing arms or one large arm with four little ones regrowing a whole new seastar from its base. Now that is magic :)
