It’s very rare to see such mysterious animals in the wild, it’s amazing they even exist. brilliant photo.

Thanks for your comment ein22
I have to confess that I am in awe of Cephalopods in general they are just such cool ‘alien’ life forms. It was such a treat to see a Nautilus in the wild :)

Wow again, I love your work. And I am so jalous it si my dream to see Nautilus in the whild. Where did you see that one?
gardenofbeeden
Hi Titoune, I was lucky enough to see this Nautilus on a night dive on tthe Ribbon reefs, Far Northern GBR Australia, Undersea Explorer liveaboard. Its a great trip, awesome dive sites and Nautilus research so you are very likely to see these amazing critters.
cheers Roger

Is that Ribbon Reefs or Osprey Reef? Did you hear that Undersea has ceased operations?
gardenofbeeden replied
Hi Andrew, you are right it was at Osprey Reef. Yes I did hear about Undersea, I spoke with Louise and Qamar last week, it is a really sad outcome as that was one of the world’s great diving adventures IMHO :)
