hi
My name is Roger Beeden and I am originally from Lowestoft in the UK although I spent most of my childhood in London. A diet of David Attenborough and Jacques-Yves Cousteau films coupled with my parents passion for wildlife has generated a life long fascination with the natural world. Photography has been my passion for more than 20 years as it provides such an amazing, versatile medium that allows me to convey my sense of connection to the world that is our home.
I have also been fortunate enough to make my passions part of my everyday life. I currently work on and study the impacts of climate change on the Great Barrier Reef. To my mind as a photographer, diver and naturalist I have an obligation to share my ‘vision’ and experiences of these precious underwater treasures to prompt us all to look after them for the benefit of future generations.
