Fuchsia Watercolor II by

This is a darker version of a fuchsia painting I recently posted, just as it came back on a photo print from a local photo shop. I was surprised it was much darker than the original, but thought I would post it to show the contrast. The original is painted on Arches 140# cold press paper.

Here is the link to my new calendar, with this image on the cover:

About Pat Yager

Besides photographing things I find beautiful, I love to paint in watercolor! It can be loads of fun, creating its own beautiful color combinations as they run together on the paper, or it can be surprisingly independent, doing “its own thing” where you pretty much have to give up control – one never knows! That’s all just part of the fun!

both are lovely Pat..but there is such a difference…one soft and delicate and the other bold and striking. !

  • Hi, Linda! Yes, it’s the difference between the two that so amazes me! I’m learning a new lesson! ~ Pat
