I’ve always loved red, purple, and white together, so this is often a combination in our garden.

Below are the paintings and photos on my 2011 Calendar.

Besides photographing things I find beautiful, I love to paint in watercolor! It can be loads of fun, creating its own beautiful color combinations as they run together on the paper, or it can be surprisingly independent, doing “its own thing” where you pretty much have to give up control – one never knows! That’s all just part of the fun!

Very pretty…I usually do one similar to this for the 4th of July!

  • The colors would be perfect for the 4th, Lynn! Are they out where the neighbors can enjoy their significance with you? – Pat P.S. My daughter almost went into Art Therapy, settled instead for an Art History major, but now works with developmentally disabled adults.

No hun…but the baby breaths look great with most flowers…but your sure got me thinking about it Pst:) hugggggz

  • These do resemble baby breath a lot, don’t they? These particular ones are a white lobelia and the blossoms themselves are a little larger than the b.b. Either of them add so much a a colorful bouquet! – Pat
