This painting is of one of the photos in my portfolio called “Cascading Ruffled Begonia.” It’s a great begonia that loves its spot by our front door each spring. It’s a gift to my granddaughter, Faith.
Painted on Arches 140 lb. cold press paper with mostly Daniel Smith’s watercolors. 12"x 10".
Received 9511 views, 143 favorites as of April 25, 2013 (only stated as a prerequisite for being in the 5000+ group).

Besides photographing things I find beautiful, I love to paint in watercolor! It can be loads of fun, creating its own beautiful color combinations as they run together on the paper, or it can be surprisingly independent, doing “its own thing” where you pretty much have to give up control – one never knows! That’s all just part of the fun!
