just wow~ this is just W-O-W

of all the flowers i think these touch me the most
just the sight and certainly the smell (the dark purple are the best~ like chocolate!)
and i am 5 years old and running in my grandmother’s garden
i can smell her bread cooking, or some sweet dessert

where this is an 8X11 if you shoot this at 300 DPI and large format on your camera you should be able to enlarge this to be mounted prints and framed and matted without any quality loss

Oh, I’m so pleased that you like this one, Laureen! I’ve done quite a few iris in their different colors. Two of the U.S.’s top iris growers are in the Pacific Northwest where I live, and I once bought about 15 different kinds and colors from them. They grew so well where I used to live, but now very tall fir trees surround us and don’t let enough sun filter through for them to grow. But they come in gorgeous colors! You might try looking up Cooley’s Gardens and Schreiner’s Gardens, both in Oregon, on the internet and I’m sure they would have some of their gorgeous colors shown there. Oh Pat, I have the very Iris in my flowers beds, although they didn’t bloom this year, having real problems with the deer. Hope they haven’t damaged them for good :O) Beautiful painting, it perfect as a picture :O)
