Yes, Jacqi, this “Just Joey” rose is a winner in many aspects – it resists blackspot, bears large deeply apricot blooms, and once it starts blooming, just keeps it up ‘til ‘way into October.

Hi, Jenny – Thank you for your kind words. I believe “Just Joey” is more like a hybrid tea than some of the very old roses. It has a fantastic fragrance!

Hi Kasey, I happened to “catch the rays” at just the right moment on this rose. The sun is filtered through thick trees in the early morning, so I literally have only a few seconds to make use of its light shining on any particular flower at any given moment. I appreciate your kind words!

Oh, thank you, Tibby! I always keep my camera close by on summer mornings. This dear rose gets so little sun due to the tall firs filtering most of it out, so I often have only seconds to quickly take a shot. This was one of those tiny bits of time.

Hi, Marjie! Yes, I know what you mean about appreciating the lovely colors of our roses in the spring! I went out yesterday to lay in a few items I “couldn’t do without” for when this storm hits later today and tomorrow. My husband is gone for several days, but he brought in hopefully enough wood to last for a day or two in the fireplace if the power goes out. But I truly love the snow, and the enchanted winter wonderland it brings with it! It’s always such a treat when it snows here, isn’t it?! Do stay warm, my friend!
