This is one of my street portraits I did while I was in Iran. I saw this great character sitting down, old fashioned cloths, shoes, having a good chat with his friends, I had a 50mm lens on my camera and I didn’t have the time to change it (I couldn’t do a candid shot) I knew I had to get the shot, so I just went up in front of him, got on my knees, with my 50mm lens didn’t say a word and took the shot (It was rude of me, but I had to capture the moment) He got pretty angry and started shouting at me and told me “what the hell are you doing boy!?”. After I took my photo. I started talking to him, I told him I’m from England and I’m doing a bit of photography, we started talking some more and he turned out to be a really nice guy.
One of my favourite memories that I have captured.
