My version of the Tarot’s Strength card using a Dragon instead of the usual lion. Watercolor on 140lb Strathmore cold press watercolor paper.
Paints used: combined Grumbacher and Cotman watercolor paints.
The girl in the painting is my daughter: I was inspired by her fearless approach to anything, especially animals. I think even a dragon would be greeted with a hug and then cuddled to within an inch of its life. (Hopefully she never tries to hug a wild moose!) Her fearlessness and passion for life is human strength at its greatest.
