Canyonlands National Park
I was unprepared for the absolute beauty of this park. We added this destination at the end of already long vacation and only budgeted an afternoon. We will certainly return when we have more time to do it justice. I think what I loved most, was the feeling of solitude here. This park is so out of the way, the throngs of visitors just aren’t here and it feels very intimate, even with the vastness that surrouds you.

Canyonlands is beautiful…I want to float it someday…I think that would be one of the best ways to see the interior of the park.

it’s so huge, you’re probably right. a float would give you a really intimate experience there. (not to mention some stunning photos!)
