A group of anglers did not let a bit of snowfall on the coldest day of January 2010 spoil a day’s sport.

HP5 rated 800ASA in a Zeiss Ikon SuperIkonta

Maidstone, Kent, UK

I have partially returned to silver for my personal photography. Most of my mono stuff is home-developed mono film, then the negs are scanned and worked on in Photoshop.

Most of my colour stuff is still digital, but I’m working on it!

    Wonderful shot…love the graininess!

  • Thanks Jen. With grain my motto is “whole hog or nothing” so it’s either Pan F or uprated HP5.

This one reminds me of some of Giles’ wintertime cartoons – pity I can’t think of a Giles-like caption

Congratulations, Chas, on being featured in Photographers of RedBubble! What a great photograph! Determination wins over the elements – the black and white is effective in telling their story…grain is a plus since it seems to emphasize the age of the elderly gentlemen. Great eye!

Could there be more to fishing than meets the eye?
