The Game of Kings, Wave Six: The Black Queen-Bishop's Pawn
The Black Queen-Bishop’s Pawn
Artist: Simon Sherry
Biography: Danny
The left side of the Shaman’s: brain, the feminine, is represented by metal and machinery
Forged of metals, the origins of which have long been forgotten, and imbued with eldritch energies from within the Queen’s Shaman herself, these cold steel hulks are highly effecient in close-quarters combat. Initially capable of bursts of high speed, the Doomhammers wind down to a more sluggish pace, limited to striking at those foolish enough to get too close.

I don’t know how you did the smudgy red bits but they are wonderful … and the skulls on the arms … I love the details Si. Great stuff!

Love it, second only to the Black Kings Rook.
I have to say though Si, i’m not sure about the placement on this one, although I can see that because the right side (my right) extends more than the left you’re stuck. Still great design, looks awesome mate – as always.

Looks awesome mate – second only to the Black Kings Rook for me.
I love the power figures RAAAAHHHHH!!!!!
I have to say, i’m not sure about the placement, would have stuck with the centre for this one, although saying that, I can see that because the right side (my right) extends further than the left, it wouldn’t work unless you shrunk the figure. Still great work dude. :)

Sorry for the double comment, entered one and it didn’t show, so wrote another, then it showed.

F**k me, I can’t believe what i’m seeing. My eyes jumped from my head and started running around. This is too good, just to good. And I think I’m going to have to say this… It is my favourite t-shirt design of 2009!

woooah!! too cool!! I can just picture him running… would it be feet then slammers… feet then slammers… like an animal runs? (I keep thinking of those big things they ride in The Dark Crystal with the really long legs)
