You will find them stationed around the pens of the monolith and they are used to maintain the health and well being of the King’s favourite beast.
Crab-like creatures, they are used during times of inactivity as cleaning device for the Monolith, keeping it free of fleas and other parasites.
Initially able to launch a longer-range assault by hurling highly-volatile Monolith dung from their excretion glands, their effectiveness is soon reduced to that of foot soldiers and cannon fodder during battle.

It’s more than likely that any attempts at domestication would result in unfortunate results, but it you happen to have a steady supply of Bullrock refuse to tempt them with, anything is possible…
