What an eye catching image!! Where’s Dennis when you need him! Email it to him. Not being an expert on lighting I am not sure but my feeling would be there is more light on the chest and arms and less on the face and forehead so my eye is tending to go to the lower half of the image first? (You don’t have Viveza do you?? Can fix this type of thing so easily with it). Go for it – enter it. Skin tones are beautiful and detail is spot-on. 4.5/5 !!!!
Thanks Rosalie. Just had a bm from Ian English. Saying the same. Has given me a little tutorial to do. Will have a go at it.
Wow Gail – lovely portrait, I say go for it. I agree with Rosalie though, maybe tone down the light on the chest and arms as your eye tends to be drawn to that half of the image.
Thanks Eve. Will work on that.
Very nice portrait Gail.
Thank you Brian.
Woohoo can’t argue with Ian – a Moran Prize finalist!!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful absoluely stunning good use of lightenter this comp and good luck i think you will do well John
Thanks so much John. I’ll let you know how I go.
Thanks for the fave too.
An absolutely beautiful pensive portrait with lovely soft lighting & skin tones. I agree with Rosalie re the lighting, but you should be able to adjust that in editing, changing the emphasis. I would definitely go for it with the comp too, Gail !!!
Thanks Phil. Yep. Been fiddling with it PS. It’s made a difference. Thanks again.
Beautiful portrait Gail!!!!
Thank you Carol.
I quitely think you have a great chance John x
Thanks again John. I hope you’re right.
Go for it Gail after making the small correction Rosalie suggested…it’s an outstanding portrait of a very beautiful person.
Thanks Gilberte. Will do.
